The one
that started the 2nd revolution; the Discover Series model "025"
is our air gapped single-ended output that brought MagneQuest quality to a
more affordable price point without sacrificing any of MagneQuest's standards.
The first DS-025 was originally designed and hand built by Michael S.
Lafevre on November of 1993 for use in sophisticated low to medium power
single-ended circuits. Like the FS-030, the DS-025 is especially
designed for superior results with the Western Electric 300B valve, but
is equally suited for 2A3, 6A3, and 6B4G triodes. The 025 has been a particular
favorite among 2A3 users and serves as an excellent upgrade to stock iron.
Each 025 is entirely handcrafted and features the finest audiophile-grade
materials throughout.
The DS-025 is equipped with a very high quality , mil-spec, Teflon insulated,
silver plated, stranded copper hookup wire.
As with all MagneQuest outputs, to realize the full performance capabilities
of this extremely high quality transformer, please allow approximately 100
hours of music playing time for break-in.
